Scott Z. Burns

Scott Z. Burns is a screenwriter, director, producer and playwright. As a filmmaker, Scott has spent much of his career focusing on issues concerning the environment, public health and social justice. His work in film includes producing AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, AN INCONVENIENT SEQUEL and SEA OF SHADOWS. Burns' writing credits include THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, THE INFORMANT!, CONTAGION, SIDE EFFECTS and THE LAUNDROMAT. As a director, Burns' credits include PU-239 and THE REPORT. In television, Burns is the creator and showrunner of the upcoming Apple TV+ series EXTRAPOLATIONS.
