Dominic Taylor

Dominic Taylor is a writer-director and scholar of African-American theater. His published work includes Wedding Dance, Personal History, Upcity Service(s) and Hype Hero. Directing projects have included the opera Fresh Faust at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston; The Negroes Burial Ground at The Kitchen; Uppa Creek at Dixon Place; Ride the Rhythm in the Hip-Hop Theatre Festival, and The Wiz. At present, he is developing a television project for the studio eOne. Taylor is an alumnus member of New Dramatists. He received his bachelor's and master of fine arts degrees from Brown.
