Shannon Thomas

Shannon Andrea Thomas is a community organizer, Mediator, and anti-oppression activist living in Los Angeles, at the intersection of a mosaic of identities. She appears in Knock Down the House, working on Amy Vilela's campaign. She is the founder and director of Malikah, a collective of trauma-informed Black and brown women trainers, organizers and facilitators, and she's currently involved in climate justice work with frontline Indigenous communities in the Landback movement on land protection and ending oil & gas drilling. As Founder and CEO of Just Media LLC, Shannon is operationalizing her passion for connecting creative liberation.
